Overview

Knowing both the technology and the law, Aaron Pirouznia leverages his many years of electrical engineering experience to craft understandable explanations of complicated subject matter. His exceptional skills have enabled Aaron to successfully assert and defend commercial and intellectual property litigation for a wide variety of clients through both trial and appeal.

Aaron handles a multitude of cases, with an emphasis on complex patent litigation. An experienced litigator, he has been to trial, has argued and won case dispositive motions, and has examined witnesses in court.

Aaron handles all stages of litigation, from pre-suit diligence to fact discovery and expert depositions. He develops technical positions for the most complicated technologies. From electrical components to baby bottles, Aaron has handled it all. He has analyzed source code and semiconductor layouts, dealt with ticketing software and smartphone applications, and presented complicated magnetic structures and tangible construction equipment.

Analytical, articulate, and an excellent writer, Aaron produces well-crafted substantive, case-dispositive motions, including claim construction and summary judgment briefs, which he then effectively argues in court. He has taken, and defended, over a dozen depositions and has successfully crafted appellate arguments to preserve his clients’ wins.

Before attending law school, Aaron worked as an electrical engineer at General Dynamics C4 Systems, where the satellite communication systems that he designed and developed included a NASA Deep Space Network antenna utilized in the Mars rover landing.
