Chris Reilly concentrates his practice on patent prosecution and due diligence investigations in a wide range of electrical and software technologies.
Before joining the firm, Chris worked as an engineer in the defense industry and at the U.S. Army Research Lab, where he completed his thesis on capacitive sensing techniques in micro-electro-mechanical systems. He researched, designed, and implemented fire control units for nonlethal military defense systems. He also developed firmware using assembly language and software interfaces and software to extract data from intelligent electronic devices to achieve greater security levels in industrial systems.
Chris thrives on a challenge. He enjoys helping startups and early-stage companies acquire strong patents and build their patent portfolios to optimize the value of their intellectual property for licensing and increase their overall company worth to attract investment or possibly buyout offers.
