Hans manages portfolios of patents and patent applications, helps clients identify patentable inventions, prepares and supervises the preparation and prosecution of patent applications for filing both in the U.S. and internationally, and develops strategies for building commercially valuable patent portfolios. He is practiced in identifying patentable inventions, running invention harvesting and brainstorming, and interviewing inventors and patent examiners.
Clients also rely on Hans for counsel on infringement and validity of patents; IP due diligence in connection with mergers and acquisitions; and litigation and licensing of patents, copyrights, and trade secrets.
