Overview

Hao Gao provides patent drafting, prosecution, and counseling services for her clients’ wide-ranging electrical and computer technologies.

Hao’s work for clients around the globe has included mining and drafting invention and utility patent applications; preparing and prosecuting Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) applications entering the Chinese national phase and Chinese applications to be filed abroad; and conducting due diligence and freedom-to-operate analyses. Her experience also spans evaluating standard essential patents, providing amendments and arguments to prepare rejected patent applications for reexamination, and providing suggestions for invalidation of patents.

With an academic background in materials science and engineering, Hao has a deep familiarity with a variety of technologies, including artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, semiconductors, telecommunications, cleantech, and manufacturing.

In her spare time, Hao enjoys listening to live music.
