Hunter Morrissey assists clients across a wide range of industries to create and protect their trademarks.
Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Hunter worked as a trademark examining attorney for the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), where his responsibilities included examining U.S. and international trademark applications; analyzing compliance with procedural and statutory requirements; researching and applying statutory law, case law, regulations, rules, examination guidelines, and office policies in issuing office actions; and resolving trademark prosecution issues with outside counsel and pro se applicants. Drawing from this experience, he now applies a valuable insider’s perspective when guiding his trademark clients in their own navigation of the USPTO.
