James Yang practices high-stakes patent litigation in U.S. District Courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board.
With a background in biochemistry, James is experienced in patent litigation relating to medical devices and pharmaceuticals, as well as electronics and software industries such as portable devices, wireless networks, radio transmission, navigation, and others. He has handled matters through various stages, from pre-litigation through appeal. He has also worked on numerous successful post-grant proceedings.
He was previously a summer associate with Fish & Richardson. In law school, James served as an article editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology.
