Overview

Jeremy Anderson litigates complex commercial cases in high-tech disputes involving the intellectual property rights of companies, stockholders, and employees across many industries, including computer software, life sciences, consumer products, and electronics.

As the head of Fish & Richardson’s corporate governance and chancery litigation practice, Jeremy leads and tries corporate and complex commercial cases in the Delaware Court of Chancery, a non-jury court that is recognized internationally as the preeminent forum for resolving corporate and technology disputes. In his corporate practice, Jeremy represents companies, boards of directors, management, and stockholders in cases involving mergers and acquisitions, stock appraisal rights, indemnification and advancement of expenses, demands for inspection of corporate books and records, and disputes over corporate control. Jeremy’s complex commercial litigation practice emphasizes disputes related to software development, technology transfer, and license agreements; restrictive covenants; trusts and estates; and misappropriation of trade secrets.

Jeremy’s practice also focuses on patent, trademark, copyright and false advertising, litigation. Jeremy is responsible for cases that are pending in the federal and state courts in Delaware, as well as in courts throughout the United States, including California, New York and Florida.

He is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, and currently serves as chairman of the corporate counsel section. He founded the Delaware chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society, a service organization that strives to promote fairness and virtue founded on the rule of law. Jeremy has been named as a “Best Lawyer in America” by Best Lawyers, as a “Delaware Super Lawyer” for business litigation by Super Lawyers, and as a “Leading Patent Professional” in multiple years by IAM Patent 1000.
