Jon Bell focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation.
With a background in chemistry and biochemistry, as well as significant research experience, he is well-versed in a variety of technologies, including genetics, oncology, and hematology. Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, he was a judicial intern for the Honorable David J. Novak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, where he drafted an administrative appeal opinion and prepared research memoranda for civil matters, settlement conferences, and sentencings. During law school, Jon was a member of the William & Mary Law Review and Symposium Chair of the William & Mary Law School Student Intellectual Property Society.
Outside of his practice, Jon enjoys Survivor, sudoku, and seeing Oscar-nominated films in theatres.
