Klaus Reindl is a European and German patent attorney. He advises clients on European and German intellectual property rights, as well as on enforcing those IP rights in litigation. He also handles post-grant proceedings.
Klaus’ experience in IP prosecution, counseling, and litigation is broad, having successfully obtained numerous patents for large global corporations, defended clients against allegations of infringement, pursued opposition and nullity actions, and counseled clients in IP licensing matters. With a background in electrical engineering and information technology, he works with technologies as varied as smartphones, mobile communications, memory, networking, computer-implemented inventions, hearing aids, and automobiles.
Prior to joining Fish & Richardson, Klaus practiced IP law, including patent prosecution and patent litigation, at a market-leading German IP law firm, where he also gained experience in complex international patent litigation. Prior to practicing IP law, Klaus was a software engineer and manager at a major cloud computing company, where he managed the design, development, and implementation of audio components for voice over internet protocol applications.
