Lauren Yablon, Ph.D., focuses her practice on patent prosecution in the chemical sciences.
Lauren is skilled in chemistry, including polymer chemistry, organic synthesis, and photophysics. She focuses her practice on synthesis and characterization of small molecules, pharmaceutical formulations, and polymer synthesis and applications.
Before joining Fish & Richardson, Lauren earned her Ph.D. in chemistry from Columbia University, where she performed research in polymer photochemistry, designed and led research projects exploring singlet fission in polymers that can be applied to solar panels to improve their efficiency, and authored several publications in top peer-reviewed chemistry journals. While in graduate school, she was a research fellow at Columbia University Technology Ventures, where she evaluated the patentability of university-developed technologies.
