Overview

Nicholas Gallo maintains a litigation-focused practice. Serving in a supportive role, he conducts research, technical analysis, and due diligence investigations, and helps prepare for depositions. He is hardworking, reliable, responsive, analytical, and an integral member of the firm's litigation team.

Nick’s litigation technology experience includes smartphone-related innovations, cellular technologies, multimedia applications, mechanical safety apparatuses, network engineering-related technologies, and a variety of other computer and electrical inventions.

Before attending law school, Nick interned as a systems integration engineer at a prominent smart meter company where he dealt with firmware and tamper testing. Nick also gained experience interning at a network engineering startup where he dealt with a variety of network engineering issues. His industry experience gives him perspective on how litigation can impact his clients’ goals. With those considerations in mind, he helps build legal strategies that support his clients’ objectives.

He enjoys practicing law because it enables him to blend his engineering background and his passion for technology, innovation, and the law to help his clients assert and defend their innovative intellectual property rights.

Since joining Fish & Richardson, Nick has been involved in several pro bono immigration cases. He assisted a client seeking asylum and helped a recent immigrant apply for a work permit. In his free time, he plays hockey and guitar.
