Overview

Samuel Orke supports patent prosecution for technologies related to chemical engineering and chemistry. 

With extensive experience in preparing and prosecuting both domestic and foreign patent applications, Samuel has worked with clients across a wide range of industries and technologies, including chemical compositions, therapeutics, biomaterials, biofuels, oil and gas, HVAC systems, medical devices, battery systems, banking and data security, medical imaging technologies, and mechanical devices. 

Samuel's additional legal skills include performing patentability searches; assisting patent practitioners with due diligence investigations; assisting patent practitioners with preparing infringement and patentability opinions; supporting inter partes review proceedings; and partnering with inventors, technology transfer associates, and in-house counsel to translate technical ideas into legally defensible concepts. 

Prior to beginning his career in law, Samuel worked as a research and development engineer for Virent Energy Systems.
