Yu Ding, Ph.D., focuses his practice on patent drafting and prosecution. He has extensive industry experience in the research and development of signal processing techniques for various applications, where the signals span a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum, from low-frequency seismic signals to high-frequency X-ray signals in medical imaging, as well as signals with frequency bands in between.
The signal processing techniques he has experience with are used in fields such as seismic exploration for oil, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, communications systems, sensor fusion systems, medical systems, financial systems, and aerospace systems.
Dr. Ding also has extensive experience working on memory technologies at Fish. In this field, he prepares and prosecutes patent applications related to memory controllers, memory management, memory performance optimization, among others.
Dr. Ding holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
